Saraswati Temple - Osmania University

Goddess Saraswati Temple at Osmania University Campus is one of the famous temple in Hyderabad.Main deity of the temple is Goddess Saraswati.During the Basant Panchami Festival and on weekends temple is full of devotees.Many devotees from all over India do pay a visit to the temple to offer their prayers when they come to Hyderabad for a visit.The temple is well located and can be viewed from the nearest bus stop Arts College.Adjacent to the temple is the Osmania University Library where one can certainly pay a visit to have a glance on the various subjects related books .

The wonderful collection of old and new books with good facilities bring the scholar from far off places to spend their time in gaining knowledge.

The nearest railway station is Arts College.One can easily walk the distance from railway station to the temple.The access of the temple can also be had by private vehicle and as well as Autos.People offer flowers, coconut and kumkuma, turmeric powder (Haldi) to Mother Goddess and pray for well being.Womenfolk generally pray for wellbeing of their husband and other family members.The other temple include Lord Shri Hanuman.Especially on Saturday and Tuesday people throng the Hanuman temple to have the blessings of Lord Shri Hanuman.The Prasadam is provided to the devotees after the puja.Wednesday is considered to be the auspicious day for visiting the Mother Goddess Saraswati.Especially during the festival and general holiday people from nearby places try to devote sometime in the temple.

College going student do visit the temple and pray Goddess for their success in examination.Some student do carry their study material and prepare for exam in the temple premises.One can have a look at the majestic Arts College Building.May Goddess Saraswati Bless Us All.
