Annapurna puja is celebrated in the month of April every year. The Mother Goddess Annapurna is worshipped on this day. It is believed that Goddess Annapurna provides us with all essential commodities which are required for our survival. The Annapurna temple is well decorated on this day and people generally visit temple to have a darshan of Goddess.
The sacred in most of the temple is maintained strictly. The prayer is offered at the feet of Goddess with flowers. Prepared food to the Mother Goddess is offered at the time of Puja. The same is offered to the public in theform of Prasad which the devotees have with full devotion. Some people generally try to spend the day with family members and friends. In some places, especially provision are made to offer the best services to the devotees.

People enjoy the evening aarti every much. Most of the children have summer vacation in the month of April in India. They generally accompany their parents and elders to the temple to have a darshan of the Mother Goddess Annapurna.
In Hyderabad 3 to 4 places generally celebrate this puja. They generally start the preparation well in advance about a month or so. The preparation starts with welcoming of Guests and Devotees at large. The devotees generally offer rice, pulses, milk, vegetables, sweets and edible oils. The same is placed before the God in a beautiful manner. Most of the people generally preserve the wonderful moment in their photo albums.
